Diane Sarver-Miller Memorial Fund

Please consider donating to the fundraiser for our father, Lawrence (Larry) Miller, after the heartbreaking loss of his wife, Diane Sarver Miller. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.

 

On Wednesday, February 23, 2022, Larry took Diane to the hospital. The doctors found an infection and believed she had gone septic; however, doctors said she would not be able to fight it off due to her weakened state.

 

This news came after Diane had been in and out of hospitals and rehab facilities since the beginning of the year, and has only been home a handful of days. She’s been battling cancer since December of 2020 and has experienced countless complications since then. Every time she would come home or we would get some good news, she would have to be readmitted.

 

After the most recent news on February 23, Diane made the decision to enter hospice care. On February 24th she passed away, with her devoted husband at her side.

This fundraiser is to help her husband Larry with the medical expenses that have been amassed over the course of her treatment, and especially in the last few weeks.  Larry is well known for being at Diane's side no matter what, often choosing to be with her rather than care for himself.  

 

Any help to ease the financial burden of medical and end-of-life expenses is greatly appreciated and will help give our dad the ability to focus on remembering and honoring Diane's memory while he navigates this difficult time.
