FIGHTING STAGE 4 CANCER & MS

Please help!! Hi my name is Don Sayre. I am raising money for my sister, Diane. In 2008 Diane was diagnosed with MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS (MS) with multiple lesions on her brain and spine.  She continued to work at two jobs (three in the summer! ) while dealing with the progression of her MS. Then to make matters worse, in 2011 she was diagnosed with STAGE 4 COLON CANCER which had spread to her liver. She had part of her colon removed and was told that her liver was inoperable. She was given about a year to live. She started a chemotherapy regimen and two months later was fired from her primary job. She got a second opinion on her cancer on her liver and had a liver resection in 2012. Unfortunately, the surgery caused an exacerbation of MS and her disability progressed so that she now needs a wheelchair. The pain has become so bad that it forces her to lay down most of the time, and she has a pump in her abdomen that injects medication directly into her spinal cord. It also has affected her fine motor skills. She has difficulty using her hands, weakness, fatigue, and vision problems. The surgery was successful, though, and she went for a year with no evidence of disease. Then the cancer returned, this time in her lungs, and she began chemo again. Sadly, the drugs have stopped working and the tumors have started growing again. Two weeks ago she started a new chemotherapy drug and she has been given a year and a half to live if the new chemo was to work less if not.  Her MS excludes her from the clinical trials for the new cancer drugs. 

She has been a real trooper through all of this and still holds on to her sense of humor. She is only 48 years old and has been double whammied with not 1 but 2 devastating diseases!!! She is losing her Medicare gap insurance this month and cannot afford it on her own. She needs help with medications that are not covered by her insurance. 

I love her dearly and wish it would not have come to this. PLEASE help her out!! Thank you!! Her loving brother, Don.
