The Dinki shelter accommodation comfort pod

Morning Everyone. Hope you’ve all had a good Christmas. I’m on a mission over the coming months to raise some money to buy a pod that will be placed at Roundthorn Salvation Army. Jonathan, Neil and crew are in the process of raising funds to buy 8 pods that offer shelter/comfort to people who sadly don’t have any accommodation. Now everyone who knew Dinks knows that he helped at Roundthorn Salvation Army for many many years and gave his time freely in doing so. It seems fitting that we as a family try and raise £4500 to buy one of these pods that will be the ‘Dinki Pod’ in our boy’s memory. I know things are tough with Covid, but I’m confident we can raise this money over the next months. There are already some ideas whirling around and if anyone has any other ideas and would like to help us, we will be so grateful. This feels like the least we can do in memory of our Angel who put everyone before himself and would give anyone who needed it. I am politely asking people to get things going if they would mind donating a few pounds to get the ball rolling with this. Personally, I will kick the fund off by donating an hour’s salary...in honour of this great man who selflessly gave hours of his time for the best part of 10 years to help others.
