Disha’s half marathon for Tonbridge Grammar School

Hi, I'm Disha and I'm running my first half marathon (21.5KM) at Tonbridge, Kent on the 29th of September 2024! I've been doing Parkrun for several years now and have personally experienced and seen the terrific impact running has on individuals and the community. Since I’ve turned 17, I am now eligible for this incredible opportunity! Having been at Tonbridge Grammar School (TGS) for almost seven years, I’ve been long appreciating TGS not only as a brilliant place to academically thrive but also for the strong sense of community that I’ve gained from being there. As TGS continues to enhance its facilities, to better the needs and education for future years, this half marathon provides as an excellent chance to put forth some effort to give back to TGS in a meaningful way to utilise for future generations of students and remain a beacon of excellence.
