Dominic LaRocca Fighting Leukemia
Donation protected
Friends of ours, Tony and Jennifer La Rocca, received news that no parent wants to hear on Sept 19th. Their son Dominic, who is 5 years old, was diagnosed with Leukemia and has now been admitted to the hospital. From what we’ve been told, he will be there for a few weeks and is having a procedure on Monday with chemo being started immediately.
Like so many, we want to help them in this time of need, so I have decided to start a gofund me account for them for anyone who wants to help. Tony and Jennifer are extremely grateful to have so many family and friends wanting to help out and send care packages to help Dominic, his twin brother Vincent, and their older brother Cameron, cope with this journey. However, by their request, if you would like to help please consider donating the money you would have spent on the care package. They are by no means asking for donations, but with everything going on: they just bought a house, they live 30 minutes for the hospital and drive back and forth, and they are supposed to be moving into their new house next weekend, anything helps. They have already started to receive a lot of gifts and don’t want to receive gifts that will not be used or potentially tossed or given away, due to so much going on.
As you know medical bills can and will pile up, so if you are wanting to help in any way, this would be a great way to show support or even just sending a kind message letting them know that they are in your thoughts and you will pray for Dominic’s quick recovery.
Again, they are not asking for you to donate, but want this to be a way for you to contribute if you want to help. If you would still like to send a care package for the boys (Dominic & Vincent -5, Cameron 11) please contact me and I will give you their new address.
Thank you,
Kathy Cole
