Don, we miss you

Our family’s hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our husband, dad, son, big brother, and friend to many.  A cooler man never existed.  He could tell riveting stories, find the fun in a global pandemic, and leap tall buildings in a single bound.

We desperately wish we could still: see his smiling face and hear his voice, enjoy the simple pleasures of sharing a Bologna sandwich or a glass of wine, or be lifted dangerously close to the fan better known as the butt chopper.   

While he can no longer walk this earth with us, we are comforted by his numerous and beautiful photos and stories.  As we transition into our new way of life without him we ask for your thoughts, prayers, and hugs.

Before his passing he received four days of around the clock attention in ICU.  He leaves behind Barbara Carfagno, his childhood sweetheart and wife of 33 years, and four beautiful children.
