Hi my name is Cassandra and I am Carole’s oldest daughter. I have always looked up to my mother as she is such a fun person to be around. She is always energetic, caring, loving, work-aholic, and always had to move. She could never just sit still. If the dishes were clean she would rewash them just to say she did something. She never quit.

All this has changed over the last few years as mom’s legs started to give out in her. She was always in pain, she would get leg cramps, soar back, weak in the knees. We thought it was from her bad knees being at work all the time. Till one day we noticed that she wasn’t walking as much anymore, ambition was no longer there, my mother was now becoming a home body more and more as the days passed by.

to make this story a little shorter. She went in for several tests, seen many doctors and none could tell her what she had. Over the past year I watched my mom drag her self around with a walker, trying to make it to a table, trying to get up on her feet again however her body was just not allowing her. This is not the mother I remember, she wants to do so much more with her life and this disease that she has is affecting her a lot. Mentally and physically. She is in pain every day, she can’t take care of herself. And she needs all the help she can get. The expenses with medical treatments expenses with new furniture for the house to make it more convenient for her mobility, a new walker, cost of lumber to build a ramp outside the house so she can wheel herself outside for a breath fresh air again. Handles and support systems around the house. Support to get in and out of bed. There are so many things that she needs in order to be able to allow herself to be her again.

Recently being diagnosed with PPMS (Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis) a different kind of MS, her mental health is unbalanced and her physical health is unhealthy.

I am seeking help from each and everyone of you who has known my mother and the type of woman she is. She doesn’t deserve this at the age of 50 it’s a scary thing to be dealing with on your own and I’m sure if we all help, this will eliminate the stress behind medical bills and every other expense during the time being.

your donation will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
