Donnie's Medical Fund

Donnie and his wife, Christina, are full time missionaries in their local community. They are founders of a local, non-profit organization named Stilts Spirit - A Giving Tree. A video has been linked to this site to show you a glimpse of what they do to help support the Hamilton County community.
As many of you know, Donnie recently experienced tremendous amounts of medical treatment, and now equally tremendous amounts of medical bills are beginning to flood their mailbox.
We, part of his Lifepointe Church family, are launching an online fundraiser to assist the Stilts family in paying Donnie's medical expenses.
While the Stilts family has insurance, they could use financial blessing to cover their portion of the costs associated with the emergency room visit, ambulance transport, hospital stays, physicians visits, and countless medications.
It is our understanding that Donnie has a $2,500 annual deductible with an out of pocket maximum of $15,000 per incident. The insurance company has classified the emergency room visit, the hospital stays and the observation stay as separate incidents. Let's not forget the countless physicians visits with copays, medication trials and additional out of pocket expenses that have occurred during Donnie's medical treatment.
We feel $45,000 is a reasonable beginning goal towards these expenditures. While we realize this goal is not concrete, it is a commencement figure toward providing the Stilts family with some financial peace of mind. If we learn of additional expenses, we will be certain to share their future needs with you.
All proceeds from this campaign will be used to assist the Stilts family in paying for Donnie's medical bills. Any sum achieved above our goal will then be placed into the care of the Stilts Missionary Fund.
