Dowd Family Fundraiser

Hello my name is Jen McDonough. One of our local firefighter's family is in need and we are looking to raise $8,000 to help cover some of their medical expenses and purchase a reliable used car.
The Dowd family has encountered quite a bit of medical issues, espeically over these past few years. Besides their son Keegan (11) who has autism, their daughter Karleigh (13) has multiple medical issues including:
~ Compromised immune deficiency (her body doesn't produce B-cell or T-cells and her body doesn't retain them, which requires her to get immune infusions every 3 weeks).
~ Heart issues that required a pacemaker insertion earlier this month.
~ Many other medical issues which requires her to have a feeding tube.
The funds we are looking to raise will go to cover the ongoing expenses to help this family out.
Jeff, the dad is a local volunteer firefighter and has done so much in helping others...we are hopeful to be able to help his family during this time.
