This film centers a story about Vana, a 25-year old woman with ALS. Vana wakes up in an unknown place and realizes she has the ability to use her arms and legs. She runs into a mysterious gatekeeper named David, who tells her she's in purgatory. Through ups and downs and twists and turns, Vana must make a decision that will change the course of her life…and death.

Juliana Khanjian — Writer, Director, Producer

Juliana wrote this story as a way to cope with a sudden and unexpected loss in her life. Creating a world where Vana has the opportunity to choose what she wants to do with her life - giving her a final experience of using her body and playing the piano, again...

Growing up in Los Angeles, Juliana developed a passion for film and television at a young age. After graduating from USC Film School she started working in the film industry as a production assistant. Through the years Juliana has grown to work on top tier tv shows, and most recently working as an Associate Producer on a feature scheduled to release in 2022. 


Anaïs Amin — Producer

Anaïs was born and raised in Los Angeles; she is a multimedia producer who has created short documentaries and radio broadcasts. Anaïs graduated from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism.
