Dylan Moyer's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
This campaign was started with love from Amanda Faber Giadina : .My friend Holly and her family are going through an unimaginable time right now. Their son is in stable, but critical condition in the PICU at Children's Hospital. I wanted to set up this gofundme account to help them through this very difficult time. I know that they stated they did not want a gofundme to be started at this time. But I've been speaking with Holly's mom Patty and she agrees that there should be one. They might not need the funds right this minute, but when they need it it will be ready for them. Only God knows how much time they will need to take off of work, how long and how extensive Dylan's recovery will be, and all the unforeseen expenses that will come up. He has guided so much love and support to them, and I feel this is another way that God wants us to help them. They say it takes a village, and this village is going to be there for them emotionally, physically, and financially just as God wants us to be. They need to be focused on Dylan and their three girls, not finances or Dylan's medical bills that are going to pour in. No amount is too small, and every dollar will be greatly appreciated. Please pray for the Moyer family and that Dylan makes a full recovery. He is here by the grace of God, and I truly believe that God has big plans for this young man. #DylansStory #StopTheBullying #PrayForDylan
This is message below is from Dylan's family....
Monday afternoon, our beautiful son decided that instead of going back to school and tolerate being bullied any further, he would try to take his own life. He then went into our basement and shot himself in the head. He is 14 years old. We tried everything to help him, I contacted the school and the police about this situation LAST WEEK. Nothing was done to actually help my son. He is now laying in PICU at Childrenshospital in Detroit fighting for his life. THANK YOU GOD for protecting Dylan. Had the bullet gone in any other direction than what it did, it would not have made it. I'm not sure if Gypsi will be open this week. I'm not sure what to think at this point. All I know is our family needs your prayers and good vibes right now. There is a candle light vigil tonight (Wednesday) at 6:15 at our church New Life Christian Church. Please if you are in the area, come out and support Dylan. We want him to know that he WAS LOVED and was not alone!! PLEASE have a conversation with your children about bullying, and if they see something to report it to the school!! Someone should have stuck up for Dylan. He did not deserve this. Please keep us lifted up this week, and the next few weeks. Dylan isn't out of the woods yet, he still has a long road to go. We love you so much son❤️
