EAA 614 Flooded Building Repair

Donation protected
On Friday, October 10th Hurricane Delta tore thru the Pineville, La area dropping as much as 20 inches of rain in less than 24 hours.

EAA 614 the "Cenla Escadrille's" clubhouse which sits on Lake Buhlow experienced a massive flood. History of flooding was at the worst 8 inches.

This catastrophic event flooded our clubhouse with just under 4 feet of water!

All of our equipment was destroyed, including the stoves, refrigerators, ice maker, and all cooking utensils and food prep and serving equipment.

Additionally, the building utilities - AC, water heaters, and restroom facilities, were destroyed.  The building will need a complete rebuild and remediation from future flooding events.

Our chapter is the most active in Louisiana and the surrounding areas.  This unique location is not only centered in the state but serves land and float operations.

The monthly breakfast pancake meals are served to many interested in aviation but also many local car and motorcycle enthusiasts.

EAA 614 is very active in all areas of aviation and we must continue our mission!

Any donations are greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
