Diana Aubourg Millner Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Diana Aubourg Millner loved children. And now, after her passing from breast cancer, you can help remember her life and legacy by giving to the Diana Aubourg Millner Memorial Fund for her two children.
Help us raise up to $25,000 during this holiday season and receive a complimentary ticket to the production "Black Nativity," by Langston Hughes. A $100 donor will receive one ticket. And a $250 donor will receive two tickets. Tickets are set aside for opening night, Thursday Nov. 19, Sunday afternoon Nov. 22, and Saturday night Dec. 5.
Diana became a godmother when she was literally still a child. She became a global and domestic advocate and policy expert on vulnerable children and the insitutions and systems that serve them.
Most of all though, Diana poured all of her professional and personal experiences into the joy of birthing and raising her own two children -- a son EJ and a daughter Imma.
Diana made significant financial sacrifices to ensure that her kids could receive the best secondary education possible. She enrolled her children at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in Philadelphia a year before she died.
Now the future of that sacrifice is in doubt.
With your generosity to the Diana Aubourg Millner Fund, together we can ensure that EJ and Imma will continue at SCH for years to come and have a strong start for life-long learning and success.
Tuition and fees at SCH are an estimated $55,000 per year, and with a holiday goal of $25,000, we can ensure the kids generate resources to stay enrolled.
This holiday, when you support the fund between now and Dec. 5, up to 80 generous donors will receive complimentary tickets to the Theatre Horizon production of Black Nativity in Norristown, PA. Diana was a patron of the arts, and especially loved to expose her family to dance, music and theatre. None of your donation will go towards the tickets, which are a complimentary way to say thank you for ensuring EJ and Imma's future success. Tickets are set aside for opening night, Thursday Nov. 19, Sunday afternoon Nov. 22, and Saturday night Dec. 5.
The Diana Aubourg Millner Fund is led by Marlon Millner, Diana's widower, and a steering committee. The account custodian is Jonathan Pinkney, EJ's godfather.
