Fire Losses for Eddie Spang

To start off, I just want to let everyone know that Eddie and all of his roommates are okay (thank God).
Early Thursday morning, around 2 am, Eddie woke up to a massive fire in his Burlington, VT apartment. He was the first to wake up as the fire was right outside of his 2nd floor window. He woke up and quickly responded by getting all of his roomates up and out of the house. (Mostly out of windows, one even through a 2nd floor window; with Eddie's positive enthusiasm and coaxing methods that one would typically hear from him on the slopes). 2 people have been hospitalized but everyone was able to escape. Eddie's roommates say that if Eddie had woken them up 2 minutes later, than the outcome of the fire wouldn't have been the same.
Eddie's room was hit the worst. He will never be able to return to his bedroom...and from what we can see from the outside of the house, there are only burnt beams remaining. He lost EVERYTHING. He ran out of the house in only his boxers, leaving behind his phone, wallet, car keys, computer, shoes, clothes, you name it. His car is okay, however, to get new car keys made, he will need a new iginition :(
Even though the 'Go Fund Me' page is outside of Eddie's comfort zone, we just wanted to make a centralized place for all of the love and support that Eddie has been receiving. We want to thank everyone who has reached out with your kind words and well wishes. It means the world to Eddie and our family.
