Ed Pycz Memorial Bench
Donation protected
Welcome to the Ed Pycz memorial bench Gofundme website!
The purpose of this website is to raise money for a memorial bench in honor of Eward Pycz, father of Dylan (Rovers U12) and Sage Pycz, to be placed at the Granby Rovers fields at Salmon Brook Park.
On August 19, 2014, during one of the first days of practice for the fall 2014-15 season, the Pycz family and the Rovers U11 family suffered a great loss. Ed collapsed on the Rovers field, and later died of a preexsisting health condition. Ed was only 45 years old. Ed is survived by his wife Sandy, 11 year old Dylan, 8 year old daughter Sage, cherished family members and countless friends. To meet Ed was to instantly become a friend.
The goal is to raise $1000 to purchase an engraved memorial bench and have it placed at the Granby Rovers fields. The bench will serve as a lasting memory for Ed's loved ones at Salmon Brook, one that they can visit whenever they are at the fields.
Please join me in contributing to this meaningful cause. Donations will be open to all of the Rovers families as well as others. If contributions surpass the goal (please, please, please!) those additional funds will be donated to the Pycz family.
