Elijah’s Journey with Leukaemia

Hi, my name is Courtney and my little Cousin, Elijah (Aged 2) was recently diagnosed with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia or ALL for short on the 17/10/23

His whole family’s world came crashing down and have been devastated with his diagnosis and are doing all that they can to help him with with his journey with prayers, love and support.

He has already had numerous blood transfusions, two surgery’s including a bone marrow biopsy to confirm his diagnosis, insertion of a feeding tube and for an insertion of a central port that has already been used for his first dose of Chemotherapy. The doctors are saying he will be undergoing intense treatment for at least the next 6-9 months and before the family even look at getting home.

Elijah is currently a patient at John Hunter Children’s hospital with both his mum and dad taking it in turns to stay overnight with him at his bedside whilst the other one is staying at Ronald McDonald house Newcastle, with his two big sisters ( 11 and 4) and big brother (8).

I’ve set this go fund me page up, in the hope to raise enough money to take the financial burden from Elijah’s mum and dad (Courtney and Robert) of having to still pay for their bills and especially leading up to Christmas for presents and with one of Elijah’s big sisters birthdays just before Christmas.

Any amount you could donate, would be greatly appreciated. Please help to take this burden off them, so all their energy and strength can go into helping Elijah through his journey and staying strong as a family.
