Emma Jane Studio Fire
Donation protected
EmmaJane Rushworth, an artist, and sculptress living in Greystones awoke on the morning of March 10th to find her studio engulfed in flames. By the time the firefighters extinguished the fire, nothing remained of her studio. Moreover, numerous partially-completed commissioned pieces, all her supplies, equipment, tools, hardware, portfolios, and sketches were destroyed. Nothing remained.
Gracious customers are patiently awaiting their commissioned artwork; EmmaJane could resume her livelihood if she had the tools and materials to start afresh. Her husband joined her business a year ago, making the running of her business a real family affair. This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of rebuilding and fitting-out the studio as well as sustaining her family until she and her husband can resume work.
