Help EmpoweredWendy Stage 4 Fight Liver, Med, $transplant

Hi, my name is Wendy. I’ve been battling stage four liver disease since February 2019. I was told that I needed a transplant but didn’t qualify for one. Now i do but $. I’ve struggled through the last five years and believe I’m actually getting better, but I still don’t have my Social Security. My husband is disabled and we’re about ready to lose our house.

Our bills are way more than we have coming in and we could really use some assistance with paying for my medication and my protein that’s keeping me alive. I’ve lost 90 pounds and need to gain 40 back, so my skin is sagging everywhere. I look like a drug addict at this point. It’s so sad and I think even my husband finds it hard to see me this way. It’s so frustrating.
