Support South End Stories: Empowering Students Through Arts and Culture
South End Stories is dedicated to creating transformative learning experiences for K-12 students by integrating arts, culture, and social justice. We work with schools across King County to ensure Black and brown youth have equitable access to culturally sustaining arts education that reflects and uplifts their voices.
As a nonprofit, we rely on community support to continue offering our programs and to expand our reach. Donations to South End Stories directly support:
Arts Education Programs: Providing students with hands-on opportunities to explore their creativity while engaging in conversations about identity, culture, and justice during our in-school residencies, after-school, and summer programming.
Teacher Professional Development: Training educators in culturally sustaining practices to better serve our diverse communities.
Youth Empowerment: Offering platforms for students to share their stories, celebrate their cultures, and become changemakers in their schools and neighborhoods. Every year we host a film festival where students can share their work with the broader community!
Your contribution helps us maintain our commitment to racial equity and ensure that all students, regardless of racial and economic background, have access to high-quality, empowering arts education.
Join us in shaping a future where every young person feels seen, heard, and valued.
Donate today and help us sustain this vital work! Thank you for being part of the South End Stories community.
