Epic Racing Heads to WIMS Finale

Hello Match Race Fans, Friends & Family!

We are fired up for the final event of the 2016 Women's International Match Racing Series (WIM Series), which will be held on the warm waters of St. Thomas, USVI this November 30th to December 4th!

So far this season Epic Racing has competed in 3 events:
           Lysekil Women’s Match Race - Sweden (2nd)
           Women’s Match Racing World Championship  - Sheboygan, WI (4th)
           Busan Women’s Match Race - South Korea (6th)

Going into the last event of the Series, the scores are very tight. Five teams are within reach of the WIM Series podium and Epic Racing is in a great position to finish in the top three this season!

After three WIM Series events and two training sessions in Wisconsin over the past six months, we need your help!


This season we allocated more funds to obtain high-caliber sparring partners (Nevin Snow & Taylor Canfield) and coaches (Billy Martin & Annie Haeger) to sharpen our understanding of the updated match racing rules.

We made training and coaching a high priority this year, and it has shown in our performances on the water. However, the training was an expensive addition to our budget, and we need help covering expenses for the last event.

The 4 person roster for St. Thomas includes:
         Stephanie Roble - Helm
         Maggie Shea - Trim
         Elizabeth Shaw - Main & Pit
         Janel Zarkowsky - Bow
We will miss our other two regular members Meg Six and Aimee Famularo.
