Eric Harris, nationally ranked wrestler, top scholar, missionary, Eagle Scout suffers from Postconcussive syndrome (PCS). Please help!
HIS STORY: Eric Harris had so much going for him! One in a family of twelve children, he was a Wyoming State Wrestling champion ranked 4th in the nation, top scholar and Eagle Scout. He was recruited as a junior in high school by a prestigious University in Pennsylvania. He wrestled varsity his freshman year in college, left to serve a 2 year mission in Ecuador for his church, then returned to continue his wrestling career. He excelled in school, double majoring in Civil Engineering and Spanish of which he spoke fluently. After returning to college wrestling, Eric suffered several concussions that were not treated. He began to have problems with speech, memory, reasoning and more. He has been seen by professionals who confirm that damage to the frontal lobe of his brain is permanent and worsening. His mother recently discovered new innovative research in concussion rehabilitation that gives them reason to hope. The treatment is proving successful for some victims of traumatic brain injuries. In order to begin treatment, the family must have the ability to cover expenses.. The University is refusing to take responsibility for the injury. Medical expenses have been exorbitant and have exhausted the family’s resources. They desperately need help for Eric! Please help by donating toward medical expenses and sharing this information with everyone. Thank you so much!
