Hi, my name is Ethan Powell and I am 18 years old. I began competitive cycling in 2020 and am a member of the KW Cycling Academy in Waterloo, Ontario. I train and compete in Track and Road cycling, and since 2022 have been representing my club team, Ontario and Canada at various events, including Canadian Track and Road National Championships, and Junior Track World Championships.

2023 has been an amazing year so far, with 3 national titles in Track and Road. I'm now proud to have been selected to race for Team Canada at the UCI Road World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland and UCI Junior Track World Championships in Cali, Columbia. This is the highest level of competition for my age category, allowing me to race against the best junior cyclists in the world. It's going to be an incredible summer, and I'm so grateful for the experience and to everyone who has supported me in achieving my goals.

This summer, training and competitions will take place in Europe and South America. Travel, project fees, and keeping my bike and equipment in top condition are significant expenses, so I am seeking support to offset some of these.
