Eunice’s 2019 Half Marathon

On 18th May 2019, I will be running my second half Marathon. I am nervous but fueled with so much excitement. It was an absolute honor running the Popular Brooklyn Half Marathon last year and doing something amazing, for the greater good of others. I felt humbled and knew after crossing the line, that I could achieve anything that I put my mind to. So here I am....again (I surprised myself too)


My main motivator is to raise money towards increasing awareness for Lupus; a complex autoimmune disease, where the immune system mistakes the body's own tissues as foreign invaders and attacks them. It is estimated that at least 5 million people are affected by a form of Lupus worldwide.


Lupus resonates close to home and I would love to contribute towards finding better diagnostics, improved treatment and, eventually, a cure. This is where you come into play.
