Evacuating my Family from war to Safety
Donation protected
Hi,My name is Alaa Abu AlRous, I have launched this fundraiser on behalf of my cousins.
The war in Gaza has devastated their lives; my family members consist of my aunt with her husband and my cousins total of 6 adults and 3 very young kids. They are left with nothing, with no place to call home. Gaza has become uninhabitable. Their beloved home and family company, a symbol of our efforts, dreams and love, was completely destroyed in this war. They found themselves with nothing but the clothes on them and few identifying papers. We're reaching out with a sincere appeal for help.
War’s tolls:
The impact of war transcends the obvious effects such as physical and psychological trauma, displacement, and societal costs. Each of us possesses a narrative, aspirations, and the fundamental right to live with dignity. Beginning with:
Sally, born on November 1st, 2023, during the war, is now six months old. We can't find any vaccinations for her, and there's no milk or baby food available since she started on solid food. Additionally, we frequently find ourselves running out of diapers. She regularly suffers from redness and irritation due to the absence of medical creams, while her face stays swollen from mosquito bites aggravated by the polluted weather.
Salma, a 2-year-old toddler who was once accustomed to a life of luxury, now feels the impact of the hardships brought by war. She is deprived of basic necessities such as eggs, milk, fruits, and vegetables and even lacks toys for entertainment.
Amjad, an 8-year-old, has experienced a significant weight loss of 16 kilograms, shedding light on the silent financial struggles resulting from the war. He consistently harbors intense fear and endures persistent stomach discomfort due to the polluted water and environment surrounding him, without access to medical aid.
Ghada worked alongside her father in the cosmetics department at Skaik Company, experiencing success, practicing English with foreigners, and improving her language skills. However, circumstances abruptly shifted, and now she found herself cooking on firewood due to the absence of gas. Once driven by ambition and fitness routines, she now carry the burden of war's impact.
Ayman, Always successful in his work with his father in Skaik Company, he had established himself and worked as a sales manager. He had traveled a month before the war to Italy, France, Turkey, and the Netherlands to attend a perfume conference. He returned to Gaza two days before the war, and his life turned upside down.
Osama, the eldest son, his dad's right-hand man, aiding in managing tasks alongside him. He used to travel and work with his dad in their family business, Skaik Company. However, suddenly, they lost everything. Additionally, he is the proud father of two lovely girls, Salma and Sally.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will play a crucial role in helping them to leave Gaza, providing them the means to survive, enabling their three children to attend school, and ensuring my aunt and her husband have access to their medications. Your support during this exceptionally difficult period will provide them with hope amidst adversity. Your generosity won't just help us to go out of Gaza but also pave a way for our future to live.
