FAMILY STRONG FOR WAYNE
Our brother, Wayne Collett, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer with metastasis to his bones, his liver and his stomach. He began chemotherapy last week and will be getting treatment every 3 weeks with follow-up scans done regularly to check the status of the cancer cells along the way.
We first ask that you all join us in support and prayer if you are so inclined. Please join in our prayer circle and take a moment each evening at 7pm and say a prayer for Wayne, and please keep Wayne and his family in your thoughts as they/we face this battle together.
While Wayne is struggling with severe pain from the disease in his bones, he is mostly concerned with his high insurance deductible, his rising medical bills, and the costly (but much needed) medications to help control his pain & deal with side effects from his chemotherapy. His being out of work and his ability to support himself and his family are Wayne's biggest concerns.
On top of the added medical expenses that have just come up, of course Wayne, his wife, Cindy, and their beautiful little girl, Ashley (6), still have the regular day-to-day expenses that we all face; but they are suddenly faced with a cut in income due to Wayne's being out of work while beginning his fight.
If you are able to offer any financial support at all for Wayne and his family, it would be greatly appreciated as well as very much needed.
Again, please send positive energy, prayers and thoughts of healing to Wayne and all of us as we gear up to support Wayne in his KICKING CANCER'S BUTT!
Kindly share this link with your family & friends.
Thank you so much.
With much love and gratitude,
Michelle and Janine
