The Kingston Robo-Cards FIRST Robotics team is an afterschool robotics program in which students build, program and compete with their machines that are designed for specific tasks. Started in 2014 our team has made it to the FIRST in Michigan State Championship event and won numerous awards in just 5 years. We recently won our first district tournament!

We have established ourselves as a strong competitor in the state. Aside from competition our school has started a robotics class which requires funding for things such as new tools and heavy equipment. Our team has doubled in size going from 10 people in 2014 to 20 in 2018 and now it looks as if team will have 40 or more people in 2019 which will be about 18 % of our high school.

With no funding from the school, our team relies on Grants, Sponsorships and fundraising. We need approximately $12,000 every year to build our robot, purchace the kit, for entry fees and travel costs to our two district tournaments. With our growing success we also need funding for the State and World Championships that require additional entry fees and travel costs that push our total need to $30,000! Any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated and goes directly to our students' education.
