Help Jen (Far) & Netta fight cancer

We are writing to ask for your support for Jennifarre (Far) and her sister Anginetta (Netta).  Far was my very first friend in Los Angeles. I was drawn in by her intelligence, kindness, tenacity, and hunger for life. My love and respect for her as only grown over the last 15 years; she's a friend whose generosity is bottomless.
A few months ago, Far informed me that she had been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer. Just a few days ago, Far's older sister Netta went to urgent care for chest pains and discovered that she had  uterine cancer that has spread (she was being treated for fibroids and somehow the doctors missed it for years).  She's currently in Chicago undergoing blood transfusions, and awaiting emergency surgery and begin cancer treatment.  Netta's circumstances are incredibly serious.

Thankfully Far has caught her's early, but after two surgeries, a full mastecotmy is needed and chemo has been recommended.

Far is exploring alternative treatment options, because chemo isn't always effective and after more tests she has discovered she has a gene mutation that accelerates tumor growth (benign or malignant). Far is waiting for her sisters genetic testing to come in, but it's highly probably that she also has the same gene mutation and both cancers are related.  Both Far and her Netta have great doctors (and insurance), but because of the genetic component, alternative therapies that could help turn the gene "off" are needed. Those therapies aren't covered by insurance. We need to raise a shit ton of money! One of the therapies she is looking into cost over $100,000 and if her sister is eligible Far would like to do the treatment with her sister. 

This money will be used immediately to provide income support so that Far and her sister can be provided for while they fight this awful disease (if they aren't actively working, neither earns any income), and to give the sisters options when it comes to alternative therapies outside of insurance. We are incredibly grateful for anything you can contribute, small or great! It all helps immensely especially since Far and Netta are doing this on their own. Thank you! It's moments like this where what's important in life becomes abundantly clear. We want Far and Netta, here on this earth.
