Feed 300 Bronx families for 3 days and 3 nights
Support Foster Children and Families in the Bronx.
Midtown South Community Council (MSCC), established in 1983, was formed to combat the many problems facing residents and businesses within Midtown’s heavily commercialized area. Our mission is to improve quality of life within the community.
Our neighbors in the Bronx need your help. More than a quarter-million people in the South Bronx are living in poverty, making the 16th Congressional District the poorest in the nation, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. The average family needs groceries at least 2x per week and with so many caregivers out of work, children and families are facing food insecurity at a higher and longer rate.
We've partnered with Bronx Parent Housing Network and Relish Catering + Hospitality to satisfy families basic need and form a collective that will transform quality of life long. At just $41 , one Relish Pantry Bag feeds 3 people for up to 3 days. Pantry Bags are filled with fresh fruits, vegetables, healthy grains, non-meat proteins and snacks. Bags will be delivered to Bronx Parent Housing Network and dispersed to families in 27 shelters across the Bronx.
Every day calls are coming in for grocery assistance. We invite you to be part of our movement. Your sponsorship of one or more pantry bags to feed 300 families for 3 days and 3 nights is going to leave a socially concious impact long after this pandemic passed.
