2018 Elections - Another Opportunity
Let's Change a bad law.
We need a legislator to introduce a ferret legalization bill.
We learned this year that Governor Jerry Brown's office has been telling legislators that he would veto any ferret legalization legislation - and in fact, they would work to make sure any such bill would not even make it out of it's first committee.
Why this hostility towards ferrets? Who knows. But Jerry Brown is termed out and we will have a new Governor in 2018.
Plus every state assembly seat and half the state senate seats are up for election in November.
We will tirelessly lobby these candidates with literature, surveys and we are planning to interview all who are intereseted via Skype and Facebook Live.
And lastly, we would like to make donations to those who are willing to publicly support ferret legalization. We're not making huge donations, but enought to say - "Hey, remember us. Ferret votes matter!"
So let's pool our donations and organize a real pro ferret legalization voting effort!
