Fighting for Kimberly 2: Kimberly Fights Back

Kimberly has finished 8 sessions of chemo and, with all of your help and donations, was able to afford medications and therapies her insurance would not cover.

And against all odds, she has shown improvements far and above what her doctors expected. But sadly, she is not out of the woods yet!

While the cancer is showing containment, it is being stubborn and stuck on an area of her pancreas that makes surgery risky at this time. Her medical team is having her go through more rounds of chemo and medicine in the hopes surgery can be performed on this very sensitive organ.

She was successful because of the love and support of her friends, family, and even strangers that gave her the extra strength to persevere.

What did the first round of fundraising do for her battle against this highly aggressive cancer?

1. Medications not covered by insurance

2. Ability to travel to Los Angeles for therapies for sometimes days at a time

3. Time off for her to recover from running her local business and recuperate

4. Out-of-pocket costs for second opinions and additional scans to ensure she was on the right track.

One of the biggest parts of surviving cancer is limiting the stress and financial burden of the disease. The peace of mind you all gave Kimberly and her Husband has been beyond words.

Our beloved Kimberly Williams, the heart and soul of Kenny's Music in Dana Point, needs our help. Kimberly has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and while she’s putting up the fight of her life, she needs our help in this fight to ensure she and her family can focus on what matters most: her health and well-being.

Who is Kimberly Williams?

Kimberly is not just the owner of Kenny's Music; she is the beating heart of the music community in Dana Point. Married to the equally amazing Kenny Williams, Kimberly and Kenny have and will continue to devote their lives to spreading music and joy throughout Orange County. As a mother, community leader, and friend, Kimberly’s love and dedication shine through in everything she does. She’s the amazing mom who cheers the loudest at her daughter's songs, a wife who makes sure her amazing husband always has the support he needs to shine, the neighbor who always has a smile and a helping hand, and the business owner who’s turned Kenny's Music into a haven for music lovers of all ages.

Everyone who has met Kimberly knows she is always looking for the next step for their dreams and loves to care for everyone.

Whether she’s organizing music events, helping Kenny mentor young musicians, or simply lending an ear, Kimberly’s compassion and kindness have touched us all. We all know she and Kenny have devoted their whole lives to their magical tiny shop everyone passes in Dana Point for over 20 years, and as such, they work as hard as they can to support themselves.
