Help Me Move To Edmonds So I Can Get Back to Work

I returned to Washington State on July 3. My plan was to move to Edmonds and re-launch my business as an animal communicator and Reiki practitioner for animals, as well as, write for newspapers and practice astrology.

Instead, I became stranded on Whidbey Island while trying to raise money to get into a shared house in Edmonds. And more than ever, I need to be in a home that feels like a sanctuary--a home where housemates practice Reiki, sound healing or perhaps, practice meditation.

And it's important that I find this space soon since I'm recovering from Lyme and MCS. I need a place to rest and to work remotely. I currently do not have a quiet space to do Zoom calls with clients or to even make videos without interruptions from family members.

The room where I'm sleeping is smaller than 10 x 10 with a child's bunk bed and damaged walls. It's hardly a professional space to make videos and making podcasts is a challenge with a TV blaring in the next room. I've done my best to work around these situations but I'm not getting the cooperation here that I require.

I also don't have a car and Oak Harbor is not easy to get around by bus. The buses are half-size which causes me to experience vertigo if I ride those buses. This means that I'm unable to get to the post office or the public library. I don't have a printer. Nor are there any shops where I can give card readings, or do my work. Office spaces are not affordable for me.

But the most important part is that I need to be in quiet space with mature, responsible and kind people who appreciate one another.

And in order to do that, I need to raise the balance of $4K but I can move after raising half of that.

I know these are trying times. I do not wish to become homeless again and becoming homeless in the future would have dire consequences. I have work I can do, but I need to right space to thrive.

I'm doing all I can on my end, but raising crowd funds is necessary.
