Help for Fire Loss in Lahaina Maui Wildfire
Donation protected
My name is Sharon Laughlin. My son, Patrick Laughlin, lost everything he owned in the house that he share rented in Lahaina during the horrific Lahaina fire of August 8th and 9th 2023. Every article of clothing. His truck. His bed and bedroom furniture. Tools collected from work as a carpenter and tools used for boat maintenance. His laptop computer. Rifles and case. Shoes. Camping equipment. All furniture. All household items. All recreational items. All kitchen items. A devastating amount of personal sentimental items. Camera. Cash he had saved. Momentos from family. Items from Grandfathers military service. Items brought over to the United States by ancestors. Kayak. Everything was destroyed and turned to ash.
Patrick was at work during the onset of the fire and the highway to Lahaina was closed off to all access as the fire spread. As he was a renter and long time Maui resident, he has acquired a lot of things but does not have much of a resource to get back on his feet except for the communities he has been a part of. Nothing can really replace these things or this moment, but help from the community can help get him back to a place where he can find a place to live and start to re-acquire what took a lifetime of hard work and so much acquired over the last 15 years on Maui. He was fortunate enough to not be harmed in the fire, but needs help to re-establish a normal life. Patrick is a helper of people, but now needs some help.
Thank you and bless you ❤️
