Help put a roof over a loving family

Hi everyone, a family close to my heart have had their tiny homes and livelihood destroyed in the most recent Queensland flooding on the Sunshine Coast. On Friday the 25th of February they were faced with fast rising flood waters, they tried to get as much as they could to higher land although were running against the clock as there was not much warning. Since Friday they have been living with friends between Sunshine Coast and Brisbane whilst waiting for flood waters to reside to clean up the damage.

Sadly living off grid they have lost the off grid power system, batteries, solar, inverter fridge, water tanks etc and due to this it makes the clean up process extremely difficult. It is absolutely devastating for Greg, Cassie, Kyle, Brooke and Zenon. Along with the main living items destroyed they have lost all their belongings and sentimental items as the entire contents of their tiny homes are now floating down the river…

This family are one of the first to offer a hand to anyone in need. Whilst their house was inundated by flood waters they were helping their friends save their homes from flooding as well as their neighbours.

 

No donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated. The funds will be used for the main items to give them a roof over their head so they can return to work to repair the rest. Once they have the means to be up and running to start cleaning up and rebuilding their home, their plan is to give back to others affected by flooding with a clean up convoy already planned for Gympie.
