Hospitals and Healthcare Professionals need our help!
As the number of people infected with COVID-19 in our community rises, hospitals across the region are bracing for hard times; inadequate testing, a lack of personal protective equipment, a shortage of ventilators and beds. Let's not forget the human toll: Health care workers exhausted from pulling long shifts, have little time to eat a good meal.
Rumor has it, you don't have 50,000 N95 masks stuffed in your basement.... you can however, help in other ways - by feeding our frontline workers. We are proud to have merged our campaign and join forces with Food for the Front Lines.
"Food For The Front Lines" allows the Westchester and Connecticut community to raise $$ for local restaurants to DELIVER MEALS TO FIRST RESPONDERS. Started by former Fairfield County Site Director Food Rescue US employee, Nicole Straight, "Food For The Front Lines" has already raised almost 50K to feed CT's EMS workers, ER & ICU staff, and those on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. Please help support both your local Westchester and Connecticut restaurants and the people working selflessly to keep your community well. These people need funds immediately. Please help.
I am Monica Lynn, the organizer for this go fund me, and I will be withdrawing these funds directly into my own dedicated account (under my name) set up for this purpose only. We will be paying the local restauants directly for each meal delivery via the funds raised from this go fund me. We are currently paying restaurants for the food delivered to the medical workers via Zelle directly into their business accounts.
We started this after arranging ourselves to donate, prepare and deliver meals to White Plains Hospital Staff. By joining forces with Food for the Front Lines, we are able to expand our capacity and share resources.
We need your help to sponsor lunches and dinner drops for our Community's Heroes. We organize, prepare, and deliver the individual meals in accordance with Hospital Guidelines. We are also using proceeds to fill wish lists for Hospitals such as No Touch Thermometers, IV Pumps, PPE, Respirators, Surgical Masks, Isolation Gowns, Disinfectant Products, and many many more items.
