Support Bruce Gordon's Fight to Keep His Home

Hi my name is Bruce Gordon
It’s really hurts my pride to have to ask for help but I have to reach out because I am dealing with much hardship and worry.
That after 12 years of making
Payments on my home I might lose it. My wife and I were so happy to be able to own our own home. I’m a hard worker. We were going great. Then my wife got diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure.
It was a real battle. She had to go for dialysis 3 days a week
In Reno. It’s about an 1 hour 20 minutes from home. It was really hard on both of us. Plus I was missing a lot of work for having to drive back and forth every week. Then she had taken a fall and got infection, her poor body was going through hell. It was taking a toll on me to see my beautiful wife going through so much pain and suffering.
It was hard on her traveling back and forth. We decided to do home dialysis. We had to be trained for this. I was struggling with being a caregiver and trying to work. Our finances were hurting as well.
Her health was turning for the worse.
Home dialysis was 5 days a week and after 15 months she had to return to the dialysis clinic for more aggressive treatment 3 days a week. I was forced to retire 14 months early in order to care for her, but I was penalized for retiring early.
There were more things she was diagnosed with. I was angry, sad, in pain. I had so many different emotions going on. I was trying my best and do whatever it took to give her the best care. Caregiving is the hardest thing to do. If you've ever had to care for someone to their death you know what I mean. I loved her so much. We had 22years together.
Both sides of the family were at battles with it.
I was dealing with different emotions every day. 22 years with the same person and then they’re taken away.I felt lost in every way. It became harder and harder. Every moment I was having flashbacks of our life. I was worried for our kids and how they were going to handle it. It was devastating. I had the Lord and a few good friends and some family that were there for each other. I was fighting with evil spirits.
Trying not to let it take me over. I was struggling.
At times I wanted to give up. I was looking for ways to end and ease my pain inside.
Now I am struggling with my own health issues. I’m diagnosed with chronic anemia.
The doctors have done so many test and can’t find the reason why. I was diagnosed with COPD and having trouble with my
Stomach. I’m having trouble with my hip and the pain running
down my leg. I have high blood pressure. I’ve been struggling for a while. It's hard to hide from everyone so I don’t worry my family and friends.
I don’t know how I can keep it together and not lose everything.
I had a Go Fund Me for my wife
that helped us with her situation. Now I have to ask for help from the Lord, friends and any one that can please help me. I can say without a doubt that all the prayers have settled the stress and made it easier to cope.
Thank you and God bless!
