Last week, heartbreak struck as we were informed of the unexpected passing of Forrest Capps. There are people we meet by chance who make a lasting impact on our lives through their actions. For many, Forrest is that person. I was lucky enough to marry his step-son Ryan and over the past 10 years grew to admire his selfless nature and hard-working character. I have never known anyone with a stronger servant’s heart. I witnessed him pour his talents into helping others. He was always doing a favor for someone or offering to fix or build something. I am determined to carry forward the everlasting imprint of Forrest’s kind heart and hardworking nature to my family, friends, and neighbors.
Forrest's untimely departure has left a broken heart inside everyone who knew him. He undoubtedly reached you with his selfless and handy ways. I know this because there was no other way for him to be.
As we now navigate his unexpected passing and funeral planning, the outpouring of support from all who love Forrest the way we do has been tremendous. We have received offers to help financially and otherwise. For this we are eternally grateful. If you feel it in your heart to give, this is the place. All funds go directly to Forrest’s family to use toward funeral and memorial expenses.
***We have not been able to connect with all of Forrest’s wide range of family and friends. PLEASE consider sharing this page with your social media network and via email. Click the Share of Facebook button or send this campaign link: https://www.gofundme.com/ForrestCapps
We understand that not everyone will be able to support in this way, please consider leaving our family a note of love, or share a cherished story of Forrest. Let us all find comfort in these warm memories of Forrest.
I would like to reach our goal by Nov 30th 2016. This page will remain open indefinitely as a tribute to Forrest’s legacy to revisit and add memories. We will continue to add information to this page in the next few days.
With your blessing, additional donations will go to Suicide Prevention of America. For more information: http://www.sprc.org/
Remember to hug your loved ones today.
Love,
Andrea Ryall
