Derrick Lee Lewis (McHone)

Hello, My name is Mac and Derrick was my partner of almost 6 years. Like any relationship we had our ups and down but we tried hard as a couple to make things happen and to be happy. I have a tremendous number of stories to share. Just ask and I will share there's so many. Derrick was a beautiful man with a beautiful heart.

On, Tuesday November 28, 2023 Derrick's soul departed his body. His shell. Derrick was finally free. He had so many people in his life that cared about him and most of the time he didn't even realize it. Derrick was one the most amazing men put on his Earth and I was Lucky to be a part of his Life for that short span of time. Derrick had a kind heart and a kind gentle soul. Over the past year Derrick has taken care of me and my brother daily. He worked very hard some days just making sure we were okay never thinking about himself always putting others before himself. I loved Derick with every ounce of life within me. I would have gladly stepped aside and took his place because he had so much to offer.

I'm asking for help. I've been sick for over a year and have had no in come I've been at the mercy of friends and family to get by. Derrick always assured me that nobody judged me and they understood he was always there helping me get through each day even when he didn't have to even when we argued he never left my side.

If anyone deserves a send off to the next life, it is Derrick. I would love to send him To heaven to be with his mother to be with his grandpareit's to be with his animals to be with my daughter who he treated like his own when given opportunity.

Please help me pay for Derek's final expensives. He deserves to look beautiful one last time while everyone says good bye.

He loved carrying purses and allof his are beat up. If anyone has a purse especially a coach purse because that was his obsession and wouldn't mind it going on with Derek I would greatly appreciate it. I do wish that I didn't have to ask for donations of nice clothing, purses or, beautiful things that mattered to him to send him off to the next life.

If you only have a dollar or a $1000 to donate to help out every dime of it we'll go directly toward his expenses.

I did a Google search of estimated funeral cost and the cheapest was around 6500. I don't know how realistic that is but I don't want to ask more than what is needed.

Every single penny is appreciated because I know how difficult it is especially this time of year. If anyone is considering giving me a gift please just provide money toward his funeral instead of giving me anything. Knowing the peace that he had the best send off possible is more than enough for me.
