Fran's Road to Recovery!
Donation protected
You may have heard that our 80-year-old mother Fran was in a car accident in Kentucky and badly broke both femurs and suffered a ruptured gall bladder, requiring three surgeries so far. As she begins to heal, she needs significant rehabilitation in a recovery facility.
Our mom has been called the "Dalai Lama" of Kentucky, and her 25 years of work at the Red Bird Mission has helped countless people. Fran's rehabilitation is critical to helping her achieve her goal of returning to work at Red Bird.
She is in for a long stint in rehab as she will be unable to do any weight bearing activities for 6 – 8 weeks. From there she will have to learn to walk again. Our goal is to support her to have best rehab experience and the first step is a flight to the Seattle area ASAP to start this process.
A wonderful charity organization called Grace on Wings will be able to provide the air ambulance services and pilot/staff because she is too ill for a commercial flight. But, we need to raise the funds to pay for the jet fuel for the flight, so we can help Fran begin the road to her recovery. We will also use the funds to assist with her rehab stay and physical recovery over the coming months. Our hope is to raise this money by FEBRUARY 7, as her flight could be scheduled Feb 8 or 9. (UPDATE she will be flying on Medway Air Ambulance Friday Feb 9 at 8am ET)

We appreciate all the prayers and support she has received!
