Freedom For Children Foundation Sri Lanka is a non-profit charity based in Sri Lanka. Our vision is to eradicate the poverty and suffering of disadvantaged children in Sri Lanka, by empowering them to learn, grow and become who they want to be.
In 2012 we established our first KIDS CAMPUS in Sri Lanka, providing essential education and family support to disadvantaged children of all ages. To date we have over 300 happy children registered with the KIDS CAMPUS.
The current situation in Sri Lanka due to the corona virus pandemic remains serious! Whilst vaccination program is ongoing, infections have spread island wide and the local economy is taking a massive hit. As a direct consequence, access to basic food supplies remain limited and prices are rising fast. It may take several years for life to return back to normal and even longer for the disadvantaged families!
We are continuing to raise money for the disadvantaged and vulnerable children whose families are receiving NO HELP during this crisis.
We want to ensure that all these families have essential & adequate food supplies, which they cannot afford.
Each food hamper costs only £10 and will supply a typical family of 4 for at least one month.
We are also giving out stationary packs to kids as part of our "Back To School" program.
Each pack costs £5 per child and covers all the essentials they need when returning to school.
With your support we will continue supplying more families throughout the island.
