Coach and Assistant Principal -Ralph Collette
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jimmy Warlick, and I'm raising money for an old High School friend, Ralph Collette, former Coach and Assistant Principal at Freedom High School in Morganton, NC. On February 6th, on a cold winter night, Ralph fell in his bathroom, hitting his head on the tub. He was found unconscious by his nephew three hours later. Ralph was flown to Charlotte Memorial Hospital via helicopter and has been paralyzed ever since. After seven weeks in Charlotte and five weeks in Carolina Rehab, he is finally making small incremental progress to recovery. Ralph has only been able to receive short-term physical therapy at home and can only move his legs in a limited fashion. He can no longer move his fingers or his toes. The prognosis is a limited recovery that will only come about from long-term physical therapy in a medical facility. He is at Autumn Care in Drexel, NC. Ralph's medical insurance will not cover long-term care. Getting the medical attention he needs and deserves is very expensive. Those friends, students, and all people who have loved Ralph these many years can help in his time of greatest need. He has exhausted his savings for what care he has received so far. Let's help Ralph with any amount of contribution you can afford. Ralph is grateful for any amount you can afford. Ralph would love for his friends to come visit him at Autumn Care 327 Oakland Avenue ..Morganton. .Thanks...Jimmy.
