Fuel the Front Line! - Eagle Scout Service Project

MY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE 500 MEALS FOR LOCAL FRONT LINE HEROES!

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our brave nurses, doctors, and  first responders have been working non-stop to keep us all safe and healthy.  

My name is Quinn Flaherty, and I am a candidate for Eagle Scout– one of the first girls to pursue this rank in the BSA program. The third point in the Scout Law is  “A Scout is Helpful.” I believe that it is time to give back to those who have done so much in these unprecedented times to keep us safe and take care of those that take care of us.

Every $10 of your contribution will go toward one fresh, hot, chef curated meal prepared by a local restaurant and delivered to a frontline hero.*

I have many family members and friends  who work in Healthcare, and others in the restaurant industry. For my Eagle Scout Project, I wanted to tie together the elements of helping our neighbors, and the idea of food bringing people together.
The restaurant community has transitioned from dining in to take out so we can still receive fresh meals, even though many have had to shut down and lost income.

By coordinating fresh meals with local restaurants and delivering them to hospitals in our community, those who work at the hospitals do not have to worry about a meal. In turn, the restaurants also receive income and work.

Hospital staff receive a healthy meal, local restaurants get needed business to keep staff employed and their doors open, and every penny of your donation will go to a worthy cause right here in our Western NY Community. You will  support the extraordinary efforts of our healthcare teams, and at the same time, help the local restaurants and their employees. 

My Goal is to raise $5000 to go toward 500 Delicious Meals that we can deliver to our front-line workers.
