Saving Grace–Fund for Full of Grace
Donation protected
Full Of Grace Farm was founded on May 24, 2009 with the vision of creating a safe and nurturing environment for horses and humans of all ages to self-empower, learn, and heal. Full of Grace Farm rescues horses to participate in our riding, psychotherapy, and learning programs. These are often "last chance" horses that have come from auctions or kill-pens. We believe that these horses bring an "extra something" to our clients by sharing their journey and healing. Like people, many of them have experienced trauma, abandonment, neglect, loss, loneliness, anxiety, and fear. It's because of the rescued horses need to heal from its "human expereince" that they are able to read and react a bit deeper to aid in human healing. In essence, we are "people helping horses, helping people, helping horses..."
Winter Hay Needed!
As grazing animals horses eat all day. Despite a lack of snow, anything that had grown in the pasture prior to winter no longer has any nutritional value, so horses need to be given hay all day to graze on. Typically a horse will eat 3/4-1 bale of hay per day. We need at least 1,440 bales to get us through winter into the spring season when hay becomes readily available and our pasture will aid in sustaining our herd. Available hay for purchase is running low. In order to ensure our horses do not run out of food, we need to purchase and store this hay as soon as possible. This is why our little barn is looking for some big hearts.
In general:
$45 will feed one horse for one week
$150 will feed one horse for one month
$700 will feed one horse through winter
Your support will continue to heal our horses so that our horses can continue to heal and support our clients and community. Any amount you can give will be incredibly appreciated and will make a difference in the lives of our horses.
