Fund for Bentlee & Shane

Hi, my name is Madelyne and I am Bentlee's mom and Shane's wife. Bentlee is 10 years old. He's a very active and happy boy. Out of all my kids he is my helper, always has been and always so eager to please and lend a hand to anyone in need... He takes after his dad 100% My husband is an amazing man and father to our 4 kids. He's the first one willing to help you doesnt matter the circumstances. He will help anyone. Well Bentlee & Shane need the communities help now more then ever... On May 26th 2023 Bentlee and shane were hit by a truck on the highway while taking the motorcycle out for the first time this season. They were both wearing helmets, thank god other wise they wouldn't be here right now. My son was unconscious and life flighted in critical condition with serious injuries at the hands of someone who just wasnt paying attention. He suffered a fractured skull and hemorrhaging, 4 rips in his bowel, a fractured hip and broke his pelvis in 3 places and was left unable to walk. My husband suffered 2 broken ribs and bruises all over this body. God wasn't ready for the two of them yet because by nothing short of a miracle, 4 surgeries later, a lengthy hospital stay in the ICU and a lot of doctors and nurses help. They both made it and are in stable condition for now. Bentlee has a very long road to recovery and alot of doctor visits and physical therapy. We live almost any hour to the nearest doctors and with my husband being unable to work while he heals with the broken ribs my family is relying on only me financially I cant do it by myself. Were asking for our communities help, friends, family everyone who knows shane and bentlee. To come together and help us get through this together. Here is a break down on where the money will go

Hospital bills (so far) - $95,550

Travel for the next 6months - $1000

Wheelchair accesibility - $2000

Shanes leave from work - $5000

Medicine (so far) - $540
