Raising The Bar…

I'm a teaching assistant at a high-needs middle school. This year, I paired up with a teacher I really wanted to work with. We want a great classroom.

I personally want to raise $1,000. Most of it will be for the classroom. Some things would help teach our advisory lessons. 

A couple things would be for valuable fun. We have a high suspension rate. We haven’t found a way to lower it without making school more fun. 

Here’s some of the things we want: 

1. A clock

2. One hundred gratitude cards

3. One thousand bottled waters

4. Bananas and oranges for the classroom all year 

5. Five "Big Red" garage seats (rolling chairs for students who like to move around)

6. Fifteen used copies of "Teacher and Child"

7. Fifteen used copies of "How to Win Friends and Influence People"

8. Christmas tree

9. One hundred erasable blue and black pens

10. Three boxes of earplugs

11. Two pickleball nets + eight paddles

12. Seeds/flowers/plants

 

It is also my goal to raise $1,000 for her, to use for science lessons and/or classroom supplies. She will be thrilled.
