THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your support and contribution to our GoFundMe! In just a little over a week, we are so happy to announce that we surpassed TWO of our stretch goals! Words can not express how much we appreciate all of your love and support <3

Thanks to every dollar and every share that YOU contributed, we are so excited to announce that not only will we be able to compete in the ICCA SEMI FINALS in Buffalo, we will also be able to release an EP and Music Video of our award-winning set later this year!

What's next?

We hope you continue to support us as we try to shoot for the moon AKA a full-length album! The more funding we receive, the more songs we can afford to license, record, produce, and release. Any extra funding we receive will also go towards other competitions, events, and equipment.

Thank you SO SO much for your generosity! Thanks to you, we were able to complete our first goal of $2000 in under 2 days!! We are so grateful to you, our community, for continuing to support our mission of sharing our music and our stories. Buffalo, here we come <3

What's next?

We hope you continue to support us as we reach for our stretch goals! First up, a professionally recorded and produced EP including all three of our competition songs! If we reach an extra $1000 (for a total goal of $3000), we'll be able to work with some truly incredible producers and release our EP on all streaming platforms.

If you can give any amount however big or small, we would love to have a really polished product that our members can look back on and that reflects just how far our little group has come in such a short amount of time.

Hi there!

We're On That Note, Toronto Metropolitan University's a cappella group for women and queer performers! Founded in January 2020, our first couple of years as a group were spent forging a community of creative individuals despite being in quarantine. This year we turned 3! We are so excited to finally be able to create stories and sing with each other in person :D

This year, we decided to compete in the International Championship of Collegiate A cappella - our first time competing in person! We were #blessed and won FIRST PLACE at the ICCA Quarterfinals at the University of Waterloo! Our members also received special awards for Outstanding Soloist, Outstanding Arrangement, and Outstanding Choreography.

Next Stop: Semifinals at the University at Buffalo!

We're going to Semifinals! Woohoo! Our group, along with ICCA runner-up Surround Sound from the University of Toronto, will be representing Canada in the Semifinals at the University at Buffalo on March 25th. But we need YOUR help.

As one of the youngest groups in the competition, we don't necesarilly have the same connections, funding/savings, or paid performance opportunities that some more established groups do. Additionally, as a group with members of diverse and intersecting identities, we want to limit our members from paying out of pocket as much as possible.

With your donations, we will be able to pay for travel expenses, overnight accommodations, food, and additional rehearsal space for all 18 of our members as we gear up to compete in the Semifinals.

If you are able, we would be so incredibly grateful for any donation - however big or small! We'd love nothing more than to share our love for music and passion for telling stories on the International stage.

We've asked you, our community, for help before and we were so floored by your generosity! We'd already be so so so grateful to achieve our goal of $2000, but we also have the following stretch goals:

If you have a love for music, you know how valuable it is to be able to share that love with other people. Our goal in rehearsing and competing together is to do just that—foster a community connected by our passion for singing that we can hopefully share with others through our performances.
