Please Help Cruz Play Again

Woof! (Hi!), I'm Cruz, the Bernese Mtn. Dog. I just turned two and am a very happy puppy, but something has been wrong with my gait for some time now. I kinda walk and play 3-legged and am in pain alot. My "mom & dad" took me to my doctor for x-rays. Berners (as Bernese Mtn. Dogs are called) are susceptible to a lot of genetic problems with hips, knees and elbows. My regular vet said my left hip looked suspect and I might need left hip replacement surgery (the dreaded Hip Dysplasia!). So, off to the surgical center I went for further tests and diagnosis. Well....., the surgeon agreed that I don't have great hips, but the issue causing my lameness is two bad knees! I have weak ligaments in both knees - also known as Cruciate Disease. The left crancial cruciate (-big scary words for me to understand!) one has already fully ruptured and the right one is partially ruptured. So now, instead of the hip replacement, I need knee surgery asap. The surgery is called a Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO)...more scary words! The surgery for both knees is $8,000. Then after a 3-4 month rehab, I should be back to my young playful puppy self. Will you please help my "mom & dad" fund my surgeries so I can play again? They love me very much and are very sad for me. I hope we can make them smile when they can see me playing pain free once again. Thank you and big doggy kisses for helping.
