Hi friends and family!
I have some good news: I’ve been accepted into the prestigious Kenyon Review Writers Workshop which takes place on June 21-June 27, 2020! I’m very grateful for this opportunity but unfortunately, I do not have enough funds to attend.
As a writer, this is an opportunity I can't miss and I'm taking a leap of faith with this campaign.
I’d appreciate the opportunity to study under renown poets and writers Kimiko Hahn, Shara McCallum, Carl Phillips and Solmaz Sharif at Kenyon College for a week at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
To secure my spot in the workshop, I have to pay $500 by February 28. The remaining balance ($1,795) is due on April 30. The total of the workshop is $2,295.
If you can’t donate, please take three seconds to share the link with your friends, family, or writers you may know.
My mantras for 2020 are simply:
“I love my rejection slips. They show me I try.”
“I am made, crudely, for success.”
— Sylvia Plath
Thanks for helping me run towards my dreams!
Warmest regards,
Arao
