CHRISTOPHER BAIRD "FISH" MEMORIAL FUND

Donation protected
Christopher "Fish" Baird, went to be with the lord January 31, 2019 at the age of 53.  Chris was born in Kansas City, Missouri, raised in Raytown, and attended Raytown South High School.  He also spent time in Plattsburg and Ozark, Missouri during his life.  Chris worked primarily as a chef, a welder, a carpenter and a cook.  Chris was full of life.  He was a fantastic basketball player, horseshoe thrower, comedian, fisherman, dancer, singer and drummer.  There was never a dull moment with Chris, and he lived life to the fullest.  Chris had a way of flattering people, and making those around him feel good.  Chris's life-long passion was fishing, hence the nickname "Fish".  Chris was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan - and Sunday football watching the Chiefs was second only to fishing.  Chris was hospitalized in intensive care for two weeks with complications from a blood infection, and ultimately died from a brain aneurysm.  He is survived by his Father and Mother, Gene and Judy Baird of Raytown; his sister Melissa, brother and sister-in-law Michael and Tanya; his nieces and nephews Sarah, Kyrstin, Jessica, Preston, Zach, and Keegan; his step son Tommy and step daughter Amanda; and his life partner Glenda; all of whom he loved very much.  We are asking for donations to help the family cover funeral expenses.  Donations in any amount would be greatly appreciated.
