IRONMAN - SEAL Foundation & Student Psych Support
Donation protected
Greetings,
My name is Gunnar Johnson, and I'm on a mission that is deeply personal and passionately driven. I'm dedicating my current journey—a half Ironman (70.3) challenge—to not only push my own boundaries but to contribute to the futures of two causes that hold immense significance in my life.
Firstly, my dream of becoming a Navy SEAL is more than just a personal goal—it's a commitment to service, discipline, and a vision for a better tomorrow. By donating to the Navy SEAL Foundation, I aim to invest in the very community I aim to be a part of. Your support will directly contribute to the well-being of current and future SEALs, making a positive impact on the path I aspire to walk.
Secondly, life has presented me with profound challenges, with the loss of my younger brother and, more recently, my beloved momma. In their honor, and to support those facing similar struggles, I'm directing part of the funds toward the Department of Psychology at the University of Denver. This contribution aims to provide resources for students dealing with grief and loss, fostering an environment of healing and growth.
I believe that by giving back to these causes, I am sowing the seeds for a brighter and stronger future, not only for myself but for others facing their own trials. Your support is a crucial part of this journey, and together, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need.
Join me in this dual mission of chasing dreams and offering hope. Every step, stroke, and pedal brings us closer to a future where aspirations are realized, and healing is possible.
I will be racing in the Boulder Ironman on June 8th, 2023 and any support truly means the world. Lastly, thank you for being a part of this meaningful endeavor.
With gratitude,
Gunny
