Gabe Ortiz Hodgkins Lymphoma Fund
My Story:
After originally being diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkins Lymphoma in April of 2013, and receiving a clean PET Scan in the Fall of 2013, I am challenged yet again with relapsed Hodgkins Lymphoma which will require more chemotherapy and a Bone Marrow transplant in the Spring of 2014. The Bone Marrow Transplant will require a six (6) week stay at a top Medical Research University in NC this Spring. I am remaining positive and staying strong! I have a family that depends on me to be strong and that's my number one focus.
This fund is for help with treatment, medical co-pays and premiums in 2014 as well as additional expenses including household care and hotel costs associated with extended stay during my Transplant. Any funds in addition to needed will be donated to the Lymphoma Leukemia Society (LLS) to develop new cures and treatments for blood cancers such as Hodgkins.
